Kaho and Shiho Sato were chosen to be the winners of the Con Edison Sports Award Program’s “Athlete of the week”.

The guidelines for the award provide that the winner should be:  First an athlete; second, achieving to the level of his or her academic ability; and third, an exemplary school and community citizen.  Most of the winners are seniors although Sato sisters are only juniors; that is another reason why we should be proud of Shiho and Kaho.

Their taped interview with Bob Wolf, regarding winning the award will be aired on WFAS-AM 1230 on 12/4(Fri), 6pm (ET).

Their pictures and interview will be listed on the WFAS homepage of their website, www.1039wfas.com sometime in the afternoon tomorrow, Dec 4th.  There will be also a feature in The Journal News in the Saturday Sports Section and on their website: www.thejournalnews.com.
