How are you spending your summer? Consider joining the US-Japan Summer Cultural Experience for an exciting two weeks of cultural immersion complete with classes, group activities, field trips, workshops, and residential life- all alongside participants coming straight from Japan and other countries. It will be a great opportunity to explore your interest in Japanese language and culture!

Step 1: Online Registration

Begin your application by registering online and obtaining a registration number:

*Please note that this online form cannot be completed using a tablet or Smartphone. If you have already submitted the form via tablet or Smartphone or if you did not receive a registration number after submitting the form, please contact keiosummer@keio.edu.


Step 2: Supplemental Application Materials

Once you have registered online, please complete the required supplementary documents listed below and have them mailed them to the following address:

Step 3: Follow-up by Summer Program Office

Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you by email with instructions on how to proceed. Please note that the review process may take up to 2 months)

 

Step 4: Supplemental Documents

Once we have followed up with you, please submit your payment of the participation fee and documents 1~3 (4 if necessary) by June 1st.

  • Please pay the $3,000 (in residence) or $2,400 (commuter) participation fee by Visa or MasterCard from the link below:
  1. Participation Agreement and Release Form
  2. Health Report Form 
  3. For US citizens, copy of a government-issued photo ID
    For non-US citizens, copy of a passport
  4. For commuters traveling without a parent or legal guardian, Authorization for Personal Transportation Form

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Summer Program Office must be notified of cancellations in writing by:

  • June 1st, 2018 for a 100% refund
  • June 8th, 2018 for a 70% refund
  • July 6th, 2018 for a 40% refund

*The program participation fee will not be refunded after July 6th, 2018.
