Library & Online Resources
Overlooking the campus from the third floor of the main school building, the Keio Academy of New York library offers a beautiful space from which to study. The library is open during study hours and on weekends in addition to during regular school hours.
Our library holds over 40,000 books, eBooks and online resources (available in English, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and French), over 80 magazine titles and newspapers (available in both English and Japanese), informational materials about Keio University, archives about Yukichi Fukuzawa, the founder of Keio, and also many audio-visual materials to expand our students’ academic and cultural knowledge. Books and other materials about Japan in English can be checked out and shared with anyone at the Academy or our neighboring schools and communities in order to promote better understanding of Japanese culture, politics, economy, and history.
Also available to support students’ research are 14 computers and 3 printers as well as a mini movie studio with a TV and DVD players with HD, Blue-ray, and 3D capacity.
We encourage you to come visit us. Our dedicated library committee members and I are waiting to assist you.
